 Accel Team Training
It's not about the talent, it's about the team. The Accel Team Training program enhances sport-specific speed and agility while emphasizing proper techniques that lower the risk of injury and improving team building.  Sports Acceleration Training Program
We have athletes down to a science. This unique training program utilizes interval training, plyometrics, weight training and sprint cords to develop and improve sprinting speed, foot quickness, explosiveness, agility, strength and power to meet each athlete's individual needs and goals.  Fresh Start - Adult Weight Loss Program
Get a fresh start on a new healthy lifestyle. Fresh Start is a six-week adult weight management program offering group personal training instruction and nutrition education solutions to help individuals who may need a Fresh Start for improving their health. Fresh Start incorporates exercise programming and planning, nutrition interventions, grocery shopping, meal planning and goal setting so you can begin your new lifestyle safely and effectively. Fresh Start offers a team environment where participants work towards common goals. Participants will meet once a week for exercise instruction, once a week for nutrition sessions and have an eight-week membership to the Kettering Fitness and Wellness Center.  Healthy Trails - Child Weight Loss Program
Healthy Trails is a child and adolescent physician-supervised weight management program. Healthy Trails is designed to educate participants and their families on nutrition strategies and exercise programming for the purpose of managing successful lifestyle and behavior change. Healthy Trails incorporates 26 hands-on sessions: 12 exercise sessions over a period of 8 weeks with 6 nutrition sessions for participant, 6 nutrition sessions for parents and 2 sessions with a clinical psychologist.  Fit for Function
This program is designed to provide an opportunity for individuals with chronic neurological disorders to perform an individualized long-term exercise program. Clients are first evaluated by a physical therapist specializing in neurological rehabilitation. If suitable for the program, they are instructed in strength, flexibility and aerobic exercises to meet their individual needs. This program is held at the Kettering Fitness and Wellness Center.  Fitness Yoga
Join us for Fitness Yoga provided by the Kettering Sports Medicine Center. Yoga helps to increase flexibility and balance, build strength, burn calories and promote relaxation and stress reduction. Classes are a mixed level for beginners to intermediates. For those with injuries or special conditions, modifications are available to some degree. The sessions of 14 classes are held twice a week over a 7-week period. Classes are 50 minutes in length. This program is held at the Kettering Fitness and Wellness Center.  Personal Training / Fitness Guidance
Available at both fitness centers. One of our certified personal trainers will consult with you about your fitness goals. A variety of assessments (Fit Tests) geared toward determining your personal fitness level can be conducted. The trainer will then design a personalized training program and "Motivate" you to achieve optimum results from your efforts. An annual fitness room pass must be purchased prior to initial consultation. Call the Fitness/Wellness Supervisor at 499-1700 for an appointment.

 Sports Nutrition
Sports Nutrition helps you meet your goals of recovery from illness, optimize athletic performance, manage chronic disease and improve nutrition during various stages of life. Sports nutrition is comprised of nutrition and exercise professionals offering a comprehensive approach to wellness and disease management. Services include individual medical nutrition therapy, individual nutrition counseling, computerized dietary analysis and food coaching services.  Tai Chi For Seniors - Age(s) 35 +
Tai chi is a practice originating in China and has been used for many years to promote health and well being. It has been seen that tai chi can help improve balance and relaxation. Tai Chi consists of slow, fluid motions, which are done in a standing position. Join our instructor Joy Joseph from the "Tai Chi Center" who will lead our eight-week sessions. Deadline for registration is four days prior to the start date.

 WOW (Women of Weights) Age(s) 18 +
Tired of the same old workout? Looking for a new edge? Our 6-week group strength-training program for women offers the same benefits of personal training at a fraction of the price, and with an added bonus of camaraderie. Exercise specialists and personal trainers will lead participants through a twice a week results-oriented, challenging, metabolism-kicking, and fun strength training program designed for both beginners and intermediate exercisers. Goals and physical challenges will be established each week. Get in the Zone! Make the decision to dedicate yourself to a new strength-training program and get started on a new shape and attitude. All participants must be oriented and cleared for exercise in the fitness center prior to the beginning of class. You must call 499-1700 in advance to schedule an orientation prior to the start of class. Class is limited to six participants per session.

 Indoor Walk / Run Track
One of the most popular spots in Kettering! Two tracks are now offered: (1) the Kettering Recreation Complex, a 1/12th of a mile track (banked Mondo surface); and (2) the Kettering Fitness Center* located adjacent to the James S. Trent Arena and Kettering Fairmont High School, a 1/8th of a mile track (Mondo surface). Both tracks are open during all regularly scheduled complex hours:
